THANK YOU ALL!!!

Joshua's benefit night was a huge success! Our final profit was less then we had at his first fundraiser but with the economy in the shape it is, we were not surprised. This was our first dinner and it went off beautifully. Our hall wound up being small just because of the amount of donations we had!!! We had over 125 donations to raffle off. Everyone we have talked to had such a blast and hope we do another one!

I'm sorry we did not post sooner then this but our family lost both of my grandparents and we were close to them. Joshua also went in for surgery. None of you have gone unforgotten and we truly appreciate all the thoughts and prayers.

Our family cannot thank everyone enough for all their help and donations. Please keep an eye out on upcoming fundraisers/awareness events for our family on this page.

Tickets/Prizes

Just a note to let everyone know that tickets are selling fast. We have several pushes out to the papers and radio stations this coming week so we can get this to be a sold out event. I would not suggest waiting until that night to purchase tickets because they may be gone. Anyone who sends in checks this coming week, will be held at the door due to mail lag time.

November 17 , 2008 will begin the will hold at the door tickets.

Eagles Tickets Donated

For those attending the benefit. We have had 2 tickets donated for the Thanksgiving Day Eagles home game. We will be doing a seperate auction for the tickets and some of the other higher ticket items that have been donated for the benefit. I wanted to let people know these items are up for grabs because they are for a certain date and time shortly after the event.

Need Help

We are in need of the following items to be donated to help with the deferment of cost. If you can donate any please email me as soon as possible so I can take it off the list of items needed. Sorry this comes later then anticipated but my grandmother passed away this week and we miss her terribly. She is watching down on all of us and we know she is in a better place and she promissed me she would watch over Joshua. Thank you in advance for all your support and prayers! Less Then A Month To Go

We are now back from Houston, TX. The trip itself was a success and it looks as if we will have to return every 3-6 months depending on what Joshua will need to have done. There will be lots of new tests to be done. We are still not sure if Michael will have to return with us. He had to have some additional lab work done while we were there. Should those labs come back with issues it looks like we will also probably be taking a trip to Atlanta, GA to the diagnostic facility down there.

It is now just one day shy of a month to go until the benefit. PLEASE get those ticket requests in ASAP. We need to have a good idea of how many people will be in attendance. If you have items for the auction we are asking that you have them to us by the weekend prior. That would be November 15 and 16th. If you can hand out fliers please let me know so that I can make sure that you have them or a copy of the PDF format so you can print it from your PC. In the next day or two I will be posting a list of items that we could still use to be donated for decorations/tableware.

Off To Houston...Send Those Ticket Requests In

Hi everyone, we are leaving for Houston, TX tomorrow for a doctors appointment for Joshua and to also see if his other two brothers have this disease also. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel.

Start sending in those ticket requests. It would be wonderful to know that we had a lot sold by the time we came home. These trips are quite expensive for us and run our credit cards to their max. It is not only the travel costs but it is also the medical expenses too.

Auction Items

A friend of mine has been gracious enough to handle all of the auction items for me. She has done this before for my friend Dani whos son won his battle with Mito in May and is now an angel in heaven. Tracy will be helping with total coordination of the benefit and working on things while we are away. Should you need to get a hold of anyone while we are gone please contact her.

Special Instructions for Donations:

Raffle baskets should come with list of items included in the baskets.

Baskets unwrapped are ok, but should include the basket itself along w/ the items.

Item's not needing a basket or single item donations can be dropped off in a bag or original packaging to help with final wrapping and showcasing of items on the auction table.

Gift Certificats and individual items are welcome!

If you have any large items or big ticket items please let us know ASAP so we can make arrangements to have them handled properly.

Need Ticket Sales

Please start getting those ticket requests in if you plan on attending the event. We really need to get these tickets sold ASAP to start help with the cost of the event and know we are moving in the right direction. Please pass the word around about the event and help us to sell all the tickets...It would be wonderful if we could make this a sold out event!!! We are already almost into the middle of the month.
